Unity Day

Spiritridge kicked off Bullying Prevention Month with a school assembly on October 4, highlighting Kindness as the virtue of the month. Students learned about what bullying is and how we can work together in Unity to prevent and stop bullying. Several ongoing activities are happening throughout the month to help promote kindness and educate students about bullying:

  • Kindness Challenge - each class is competing in "100 acts of kindness" this month
  • Orange Hearts - every student is writing a word on an Orange Heart about kindness that will be displayed at school
  • Bullying Prevention Units - the Principals, school Counselor and ITCL are helping lead bullying education lessons in all classrooms this month

We will culminate with Unity Day on October 24 by having all students wear orange to school. Be sure to represent Unity Day at work by wearing orange as well.
