Popcorn Friday - Calling for Volunteers



Thanks to Na Shaw and Kathleen Keag who are willing to take on this program. We can start selling Popcorn on Friday, 9/28. Volunteer sign up sheets will be available soon. If you can spare 45 minutes around noon or early afternoon on Fridays to help prepare & sell, please email to popcorn@spiritridge.org and sign up to be a volunteer. 


Oct 16th Family Fun Night - Toy Maker Workshop

Please Join Us - Rick Hartman "School of Toys" will host a workshop for Spiritridge students and families.  A $5 per family suggested donation is being requested. 

October 16th, 2018

6:30 - 8:00 pm in the MPR (this is a drop in event, parents must stay on site)

Reflection Art Contest - Artwork & Entry form Due Oct 16th

Theme: HEROES AROUND ME

  

Reflections is a National PTSA arts competition and part of the Spiritridge Academic Challenge. Enter for a chance to win prizes and scholarships at the National level. Please click Program Page  or this link for detailed instruction. http://spiritridge.org/Page/Programs/Reflections

Submit artwork along with the student entry form in front of the Spiritridge office on Tuesday, October 16th, 2018.  Any artwork submitted after this time will not be accepted.

See all artwork displayed at the Spiritridge Gallery Night on Thursday, October 25th, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM in the MPR.


Library Helpers

Volunteer opportunities are available in the library this year!  Responsibilities include book check-in, shelving books, assistance with check-out and other special projects as needed.  Help during one class period or longer if your schedule allows. 

Availabile every other week, every week, once a month?  We are flexible.  Training will be provided for new volunteers.

Please join us in the Spiritridge Library for our Fall Book Fair!

October 16th  8:00am - 4:00pm and 6:30pm - 8:00pm

October 17th  8:00am - 2:00pm

Every dollar spent helps earn money for our school library to use toward the purchase of additional book titles and much more.  
 
*PLEASE NOTE: An adult must accompany all students attending the Book Fair before and after school. Hallways and classrooms are closed during after school hours. Parents must use marked parking and should not leave cars in the drop off area.
