Our school garden needs some spring love! Below are opportunities to contribute to our community. Assembling cups with soil and distributing to interested classes for growing in their window sills are priority. We want to get the seeds distributed this month! CLASSROOM SUPPORT (8 openings, ~1-3 hours, time varies with teacher)
Classroom Garden Liaisons: Can you take the lead on connecting with your teacher, or multiple classrooms to help them use the garden? We've got loads of seeds you could use for in-classroom projects. We can give you a tour of the garden, so you can lead classrooms in outdoor garden time (pulling weeds, exploring soil, etc.). Interest varies among teachers in using the garden space, but dedicated classroom garden helpers makes it much easier for them to get out there.
