PTA Reflections

PTA REFLECTIONS Program is back!

Reflections is a National PTA program in which students reflect on the annual student-selected theme to create an original work of art (in school or at home). They are recognized for their participation and achievement in the arts, with the opportunity for state and national awards and recognition.

Theme for 2023-24: “I am Hopeful Because…”

Students of all grades and abilities are welcome to explore their inner artists in one or all six arts disciplines:

    • Literature
    • Music Composition
    • Photography
    • Visual Arts
    • Film/Video
    • Choreography/Dance

The grade levels are:

    • Primary: Pre-school – Grade 2
    • Intermediate: Grades 3 – 5
    • Middle School: Grades 6 – 8
    • High School: Grades 9 – 12
    • Special Artist Division (students with a disability as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA))

Volunteers

Volunteers Needed

Our yearly Spiritridge PTSA events and programs would not be possible without dedicated volunteers like yourself. Please sign up for any volunteer efforts to help bring our commUNITY together.

We are still looking for chairs and volunteers for the following programs / events:

    • Classroom Room Partner - Reimergartin (Kindergarten), Teng (1st grade), Wulbert (3rd grade), Schaefer (3rd grade), Kennedy (5th grade)

Classroom Room Partners act as a liaison for teacher and family communications in your student’s classroom. Room Partners do not need to volunteer in the classroom unless available. Room Partners support teachers with email coordination for classroom volunteer needs, coordinate volunteers for classroom parties and help promote PTSA monthly programs.

    • Sweet Treat Exchange (December)
    • Talent Show / Lip Sync (spring)
    • Science Fair (spring)
    • Bite of Spiritridge (Multicultural Night)
